This 2 track EP released about a month ago has been stuck on my brain. Both songs are really groovy and you'll find yourself riding the house wave effortlessly. Black Caviar have been on my radar for a long while now, and everything they touch I'm enamoured with. They do a good amount of remixes, but their original home grown stuff I think is where they really shine.
"Kubrick Faked The Moon Landing" really gets the people going! It's suspenseful, has great cutoff moments where you lose certain sounds, and everything about it just seems like it was meant to be put together. The song is certainly going to be on my top list come the end of the year. "Moonpie" is nothing to turn your nose up to either however. It may be the more infectiously funky tune and it definitely hits differently when your a couple drinks in. Both songs make you want to get up and dance, but "Moonpie" you can get really sexy with it for sure.
Black Caviar is on the up and up, and I can't wait to see what stages they have yet to play before them. Their music speaks for itself, as it is some of the best house tunes on the planet right now.
