Ben Pearce - What I Might Do

Release Date: Oct 1, 2012

Record Label: MTA Records

This song f***s! I'm in love with the feelings this song gives me. It's soulful, but in the way that makes me want to cut shapes on the dance floor because of the deep house. If you can't get down with this song I don't need you in my life. I can't believe I was just recently introduced to this groovy house jam recently, and have missed out on it for over six years.

The mix found on Spotify is my favorite, which isn't always the case, but I love long club mixes. For some reason Spotify's remixes EP by Ben Pearce for the song has a club mix that isn't on the SoundCloud version of the EP. The club mix is twice as long as the original mix he made and twice the vibes.

The song samples Anthony Hamilton's "Cornbread, Fish & Collard Greens" from 2003, but never really gets into the chorus. Ben Pearce's original of the song has a pretty cool music video to go with it, as well. Don't watch it while on hallucinogens because it is quite trippy, but it's pretty cool editing based on a simple premise.
